Brookton Highway and Sullivan Rock Bus Service

To assist walks with transport on the Queen’s Birthday WA long-weekend, the Foundation is running a bus service in conjunction with the Foundation's Wildflower trek. Bus users do not need to book on this walk to use the service.

Walkers can make a booking for either of the services on Saturday 23rd September and/or Monday 25th September listed below.

The services allow people to walk from Brookton Hwy to Sullivan Rock (or vice versa) staying at Canning Campsite and Monadnocks Campsite which suits the long weekend time frame. It will also allow walkers to head south from Sullivan Rock to North Bannister to connect with a TRANSWA service back to Perth (please check availability and timetables with TRANSWA) or walk north from Brookton Hwy to finish at Mundaring Weir (and be collected by friends or family).

**Walkers should keep an eye on Track closures due to prescribed burning in this area which may affect the planning of the walk. See the Realignments and Diversions tab for the Darling Range section.**

All individual tickets are $25 ($20 for members). More tickets may be released for the Bus Service on Tuesday 19 September if, after bookings close, places are left on the Wildflower trek.

Saturday September 23

Murdoch Park'n'Ride to Brookton Hwy then to Sullivan Rock and back to Murdoch Park'n'Ride

Depart: Murdoch Park'n'Ride Train Station carpark 9am.
Arrive: Brookton Hwy 10.30am and leave very soon after.
Arrive Sullivan Rock 11.30am and depart very soon after.
Arrive: Murdoch Park'n'Ride Train Station approx 12.30pm.

Monday September 25

Murdoch Park'n'Ride to Sullivan Rock, then to Brookton Hwy, then to Murdoch Park'n'Ride

Depart: Murdoch Park'n'Ride Train Station carpark 2pm.
Arrive: Sullivan Rock 3pm and depart very soon after.
Arrive: Brookton Hwy 4pm and depart very soon after.
Arrive: Murdoch Park'n'Ride Train Station approx 5.30pm.

Bookings are essential, non-refundable and places are strictly limited. If walkers are not present at the time of departure, their fare will be forfeited and no responsibility will be accepted or recompense payable for any other arrangements the walkers must make to reach their destination.
