Track your daily step count and progress on a virtual map of the Track, discovering 32 milestones with captivating photos and vivid descriptions that bring the Bibbulmun Track to life.
The Bibbulmun Track Virtual Hike Challenge starts on 14 July 2023 when the 25th Anniversary end-to-enders set off on their journey. Try to keep pace with them and complete the Track in 62 days… but don’t worry if you need more time, you have up to 12 weeks to complete the Track with your team mates.
To take part, register via the Big Team Challenge website or App (see instructions below). Teams of up to three members can sync the App with Fitbit, Garmin Connect, Apple Health, or Google Fit to track their progress. Alternatively, you can manually enter your activity to reach milestones.

This challenge is more than just an adventure; it's an opportunity to make a difference. By choosing to fundraise as part of your participation you'll help us raise much needed funds for track maintenance, with 10% of funds raised going towards Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre, helping save WA's Black Cockatoos. *

* There is no charge to take part in the Challenge - and fundraising is optional – but if you can afford $10 per person it would be gratefully received to cover the fee per person charged by the virtual hike platform.

Participants can sign up from all around the world and experience a sense of bonding through this team activity.
Join the challenge via the website
Go to bibbulmuntrack.bigteamchallenge.com and register on the system. (You can also do this via the app, just search for “Big Team Challenge” in the App Store and Google Play).
Once on the dashboard, go to “My Team” and follow the instructions to create a new team.
Send out invites to up to two more people to join your team (make sure they register using the email address you send the invite to).
Start inputting your distance from 14 July.

Once you’ve downloaded the “Big Team Challenge” app, enter “bibbulmuntrack” when prompted on the first screen.
Follow steps 2-4 above.
