Beginners Guide Training Course - Bushwalking
The Bibbulmun Track Foundation is pleased to be offering an introductory course for aspiring leaders who have no (or very little) prior experience or formal training in leading bushwalks.

Bushfires, campfire bans, walking in the heat during Birak and Bunuru
Walkers should seriously reconsider plans to embark on overnight walks on the Track during Birak and Bunuru (our summer months). Bushfires may impact the Track between December and March. Campfire bans will be in place at all campsites on the Bibbulmun Track at least until the end of March and possibly longer. Read on....

A Cage in the Bush
A Cage in the Bush, by Ernie Polis, is the colloquial name given by a German POW to the No 16 Prisoner of War Camp near Dwellingup built in July 1943 to detain Germans and Italians captured in North Africa by the Australian forces.
