Includes comprehensive planning night, trip preparation manual, map, experienced guides and equipment hire. BYO food. Own transport to walk start.

Just the right level for an introductory overnight walk. An excellent event! Richard – event participant

Just the very fact that the event exists is excellent. A great introduction for those new to full pack walking/camping, or those who don't have the gear and want to have the experience. Being in the company of Elsie and Trish (guides) was fantastic - both warm and lovely people who were unobtrusive in the ways they offered support to the various individuals in the group. Beverley – event participant.

Hi all, I have been a regular user of the Track ever since the realignment and have walked end-to-end both ways plus many sectional bits. As well as enjoying introducing people to the Track as a volunteer guide I also help to maintain it by looking after Mt Wells campsite and a section of Track each side. I love being out in the bush and the Track facilities make the wilderness experience much easier and more enjoyable. I often walk, tramp or ramble in other parts of Australia and elsewhere but it’s always a pleasure to be back on the Bibb especially in spring when the wildflowers rival any I have seen anywhere else.

Hello! I am a retired “ex-schoolie” who was introduced to the Track in 2003 and have been volunteering with the BTF since 2004. Starting as a maintenance volunteer for Canning campsite, I became a volunteer guide and an office volunteer. I have completed five end-to-ends, including the first registered “double e-e”. Whether it’s planning a walk, cleaning ‘my’ campsite, pruning track-side vegetation, carrying my pack on Track, or simply sitting around a campfire chatting to other walkers, I love all aspects of “Bibbulmun Therapy”!
