An important milestone arising from the 2017 Vision Survey was achieved in mid-January with the completion of a realignment to move the Track off Ficifolia Rd (south of Walpole) thereby adding to walker safety and enjoyment.
A team of Support and Sectional volunteers were lucky to strike cool weather which allowed them to cut trail through sometimes heavy regrowth and complete the work in two days.
This is the first of several Frankland District realignments for 2021 aimed, in combination with ongoing stabilisation projects and erosion control, at constructing durable readily maintainable trail.
