Boat Harbour to William Bay

Highlights

An echidna train near Dwellingup.
Warm sunny days on the Pingerup Plains.
A pod of dolphins jumping next to a whale at Boat Harbour. Walking for 7 hours in a gale force storm near West Cape Howe.

Personal Reactions

The first two weeks were hard on the lower legs, especially the achilles tendons. Very happy to finish the whole track with no serious injuries.

Wildlife

A lot more animals to see from about Northcliffe onwards.

Advice for Others

Have a pair of old crappy shoes/runners waiting for you at Northclie Visitor Centre. Wear them on the Pingerup Plains and the other flooded areas prior to Denmark so your boots stay relatively dry. Bin the old shoes when you get to Denmark.
