General Comments
We completed our first sectional End to End in 2008. My wife and I started at Kalamunda to complete a continuous End to End in 2014 but an injury at Murray Campsite finished this idea. Since then I have completed the rest of the End to End in sections.
Food/Supplies Comments
Back Country meals are so easy and tasty. M and M’s make the best trail mix. Then lots of muesli bars complete the diet.
Favourite Section
I just love the ocean so between Denmark and Albany was one highlight. Also the wildflowers between Collie and Dwellingup were so varied and plentiful.
Highlights
The South Coast between Denmark and Albany with the Google Camera was amazing with magnificent blue skies to show off the beautiful Southern Ocean.
Personal Reactions
Was pleased to complete my second End to End just before my 70th birthday
Wildlife
Of course kangaroos, emus and snakes that mostly slithered away as I approached.
Your Best Equipment
My New Balance joggers again were sturdy and caused absolutely no issues for my feet. Also the Jet Boil that produces boiling water for my coffee in a minute.
Your Worst Equipment
My snake bandage and emergency beacon. I carried them all the way and never used them once.
Advice for Others
Plan well and take your time to enjoy the magnificent Australian forests.
