General Comments

A beautiful and diverse trail where I met other great walkers ... a wonderful adventure!

Food/Supplies Comments

Enough Deb and Cuppa Soup for now!

Favourite Section

The low tide walk along the wide, firm sand beside the roar of powerful crashing waves between Parry’s and along Mazzoletti beach ... made my heart soar smile

Highlights

Each section had its own wonderful highlights ... massive trees, abundant wildlife, fungi & flowers, kilometers of ‘puddles’, beautiful beaches, sleeping out in open-sided huts, chicken parmis & beers and campside chats ... too many highlights to name!

Personal Reactions

I fell into Helena camp at the end of Day 1 and on Day 15 had my wrist X-rayed in Collie ... to find that it was sore because it was broken. On Dr’s advice I returned to Perth to get a further opinion (and lightweight cast) and I’m so very glad I was able to return to Collie and keep going on my E2E!
A fabulous adventure!

Wildlife

The wonderful diversity of wildlife and birds along the way ... kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wild pigs, emu, black cockatoos, finches, wrens and more ... even the bush rats & snakes ... were a daily pleasure.

Your Best Equipment

I miss sleeping on my blow up mattress in my cuddly sleeping bag in the wonderful open-sided huts so much that I’m thinking of starting to sleep out on my back verandah smile

Your Worst Equipment

Everything worked well.
