General Comments

A life changing experience on a fantastic track. It truly is an asset to the state and the support and sense of community around the Bibbulmun is fantastic. Thank you to everyone at the Foundation for helping to make it easy for us hikers to go on these adventures.

Food/Supplies Comments

Still not sick of Clif bars and have learned plenty of new dehydrated recipes for the future.

Favourite Section

Too hard to pick. Each has their own character and my personal experience was different in all of them.

Kalamunda NP, Helena River Valley, Monadnocks, Mt Cooke, Mt Wells, Murray River, Jarrah Forest, Balingup, Blackwood, Donnelly River, Boarding House Bridge, Karri Forest, Beedelup Falls, Gloucester NP, Lake Maringup, Mt Chance, Mandalay Beach, Little Cove, Mt Clare, Tingle Forest, Conspicuous Beach/Cliffs, Peaceful Bay, Irwin Inlet, Showgrounds, Rope Hill, William Bay, Mount Hallowell, West Cape Howe, Cosy Corner Beach, Cliffs above Muttonbird, Sandpatch, Albany. Way too many, this was the short list!

Personal Reactions

Plenty of kangaroos, emus, cockatoos, a few snakes around Albany but no echidnas.

Your Best Equipment

Osprey Atmos 65L pack was amazingly comfortable and my sleeping system of a S2S insulated ultralight mat and S2S Trek III sleeping bag kept me super warm at night.

Your Worst Equipment

S2S uninsulated ultralight sleeping mat, had some very cold night on this.

Advice for Others

Take your time, photograph the wildflowers, listen to your body and make sure you put yourself in the best position to enjoy the experience.
