General Comments
An amazing experience!
Food/Supplies Comments
Pretty much all of the track towns have enough available to resupply. I ate mostly dehydrated rice and noodle meals along the Track, plus I ‘carbo-loaded’ at all the pubs and bakeries in the track towns.
Favourite Section
Walpole to Denmark, though all sections have something to offer!
Highlights
Walking through the lush karri and tingle forests. Watching the amazing sunsets along the coast. Reading about the escapades of other hikers in the log books at each of the campsites. Arriving at the towns and having a beer and pub meal with the great people I met along the way.
Personal Reactions
I met some awesome people along the way who made my time on the Track so great. That said, I also enjoyed the solitude. Walking the Track was easily the longest time I’ve ever spent by myself!
Wildlife
Kangaroos, wallabies, emus, snakes (13 in total), frogs, possums, mardos, some other small marsupials, plus hundreds upon hundreds of birds, lizards and insects.
Your Best Equipment
Tabasco sauce.
Your Worst Equipment
Nothing! I ended up using everything I brought along with me.
