General Comments

A fantastic hike, well maintained and helped me focus on the little things in life with plenty of time to stop and smell the wildflowers.  Always great reading the green/red books.  Thanks for the poems Bman/Big Dan!

Food/Supplies Comments

I only had resupply problems in Balingup but still made ite work with creativity, every other town had what i needed.  i eat simply

Favourite Section

Everything from DRV down - stunning.

Highlights

DRV was a fantastic zero day, the wildflowers in every section blew me away.  Something about massive trees, such as the Karri and Tingle just awakened my sould.

Personal Reactions

A fantastic hike. I walked Te Arora in 2017 and both were beautiful.

Wildlife

Nothing makes me feel more like being in Australia like seeing a kangaroo hop away into the bush

Your Best Equipment

My Vasque St Elias boots, so comfortable and durable, they still have 1000’s of kilometeres in them

Your Worst Equipment

My cooking supplies were made for being lightweight not for easy handling

Advice for Others

As always, hike your own way, don’t let others tell you, you are going to fast or too slow, be yourself, but safely!!
