General Comments

Best maintained trail I have ever been on. Shelters and dunnys were incredible. Terrain was very easy, I would highly recommend this trail for any beginner looking to do there first end to end hike.

Food/Supplies Comments

Resupply was really easy given the trail runs right through towns. Best hiking meal was a alfredo pasta side with tomato basil tuna, sundried tomatoes, and kale powder. Best in town meal was at a cafe in Denmark.

Favourite Section

The whole southern coast.

Highlights

Daily rainbows on the southern coast. Reconnecting with friends from the AT.

Personal Reactions

Had an amazing time on my first long distance end to end hike with my wife!

Wildlife

Roos (obviously), birds, 1 snake, turtles, crayfish, bandicoot, possom, and emu.

Your Best Equipment

My ULA pack and ZPacks sleeping bag.

Your Worst Equipment

Big Agnes flycreek ul2 platinum. It was really light for a two person tent and worked great for fly protection in the shelters but failed the rain test.

Advice for Others

Hike it in June and July and avoid crowds, most of the bugs, and snakes.
