General Comments

Being from the USA, there were beautiful surprises around every corner, middle section a bit long and plodding old 4WD track walking not inspiring but I know will improve as the Track gets older.

Food/Supplies Comments

Great supplies through out. Don’t expect gourmet of course, if your not picky it’s easy to resupply.

Favourite Section

Walpole to Albany.

Highlights

The shelters. Absolutely beautiful both in form and upkeep.  The wonderful people both on the Track and in the towns. Sunset at West Cape Howe. First hot meal in Dwellingup.

Personal Reactions

About the best thing to do in Australia after getting off the plane. Great introduction to Australia’s people, flora and fauna and countryside.

Wildlife

Lots of roo’s, emus, parrots, cockatoos, stub tails, crows, magpies. Could do without the ticks though.

Your Best Equipment

Tarp tent, flynet, light weight shoes.

Your Worst Equipment

Folding sporks.
