We had an amazingly wonderful time. Did it in style with luxury accommodation plus campsite accommodation as well

Off the Track great. On the Track needs a little improvement!!!

How can anyone choose. The way we did it, it was all great.
Highlights
If I had to choose, I would say it was the time we spent in the shelters (only 11 days), because it was so different with the rest of the accommodation done in style.
Personal Reactions
The best thing that has happened to me (sporting wise), I have gone on to walk the Milford Track, with more planned for August 2009.
Wildlife
Did not see as much as I would have liked to see - especially in the Collie area.
Your Best Equipment
Boots (Merrell 6 Hi Tec) - when they finally wore in.
Your Worst Equipment
Rain coats - never got the right one.
Advice for Others
Do it, don’t put it off. Do it your way. We did it our way and got to see our towns and camp sites as well.
