General Comments

Some sections are far too long for the terrain type that needs to be covered.

Food/Supplies Comments

No problems encountered (though Northcliffe General Store was out of stock of Metho - how slack was that!!)

Favourite Section

Coastal sections - for the views, not the walking conditions.

Highlights

Reaching Albany and gaining ideas from other hikers re gear & handy hints.  The main highlight was a fabulous 4 day R&R at the Watermark Kilns, Northcliffe.

Personal Reactions

I made it from A to B and from campsite to campsite and that is what I set out to do from day 1.

Wildlife

Roos, tiger snakes, a chuditch!! at Grimwade, emus, Australians from the east.

Your Best Equipment

Walking poles and Macpac Astro Cocoon tent and Macpac Interwood top for walking in.

Advice for Others

Prepare for blisters you’ll sure get them!!  Be fit, pack as light as you can, plan as many food drops as possible.  Be prepared for some serious energy sapping VERY long inclines which seem never ending.
