General Comments
FOBT & CALM deserve great credit for the concept, the establishment and the maintenance of this world class long distance walking track. Its infrastructure is unsurpassed in this country and the inclusion of such a variety of geographical regions must be unique.
Food/Supplies Comments
Adequate - although variety offered at N. Bannister a problem.
Favourite Section
Probably Collie - the plantation (blue gum) near N. Bannister. But the whole track was great.
Highlights
The pleasure and honour of meeting many lovely people whose kindness and generosity to a solo geriatric were overwhelming.
Personal Reactions
Would love to do more walks on the Bibb Track but distance from WA and extreme old age will make this unlikely.
Wildlife
Not as much as expected. Feral animals included 2 cats and a huge sow or boar near Mt Chance. Snakes fewer in April than was the case in Oct 2002.
