General Comments

Increase the number of Waugal markers in some of the more remote parts of the track - these are helpful confirmations (peace of mind for walkers!)

Food/Supplies Comments

Pasta & rice packet meals - bought in Perth. Could you encourage local country shops to stock lightweight small portion bushwalking foods.

Favourite Section

Walpole forest to Albany.

Highlights

(Hundreds!!) Wildflowers in jarrah forests, Blackwood shelter - morning mist in valley, Pingerup Plains (on cool day), side detour to West Cape Howe Cliffs, old Albany houses near end of Track.

Personal Reactions

Tranquillity in quiet forest, deserted beaches of having the shelter to ourselves.

Wildlife

No many animals. Heard some wild pigs. Saw snakes, bungarras, bandicoots at shelters - hope people don’t feed them!

Your Best Equipment

Trangia stove.

Advice for Others

Use the Bib Track maps and track notes to keep an idea of where you are at all times. Useful in finding the interesting spots and in case of emergencies.
