General Comments

Amazing journey infrastructure and people, loved the wildlife and only 2 days of rain.

Food/Supplies Comments

Bought as I went completely, no drop offs. Was able to get variety but underestimate amount to eat Northcliffe to Walpole.
Track towns had lots to choose from but loved Denmark shopping.

Favourite Section

Loved walking through the forests around Donnelly River.

Highlights

Donnelly River and meeting other people from all over the place. Best day walking to Peaceful Bay from Rame Head was special and stands out. The taste of the rainwater was awesome.

Personal Reactions

You are in a bubble for such a long time when walking and enjoying the scenery. I enjoyed to solitude but also the people around me but it was very isolating and peaceful. An entirely different life.

Wildlife

saw one dugite coming from the north but mostly more heading further south between Northcliffe and Walpole. Saw a large python that was massive. Saw a beautiful brown snake on the boardwalk two days before Albany. Saw an Echidna and it was absolutely huge

Your Best Equipment

light weight tent was great but broke a pole when I fell into the tent during the night. Liked my walking poles as well.

Your Worst Equipment

My backpack was really heavy and not designed to carry a lot of heavy weight, will think of a better more robust backpack for future walks to help with the weight of the food.

Advice for Others

Pack light for long walks such as the End to End. Embrace nature and all things around you. I would recommend a water filtration unit or tablets for the water. Easy access for replacing gear was the visitors Centres in the Towns.
