Your Best Equipment
A good jarrah walking stick picked up in the bush near Collie which lasted me all the way to Albany.
Your Worst Equipment
A 3p tent for solo hiking.
Advice for Others
I shared a camp at Beedelup with a chap much more experienced than I who put it well “all long distance hiking is just walking through the woods and trying not to get wet”. Care for your feet, avoid the heat, and enjoy the vistas.
