General Comments
Thanks to all that made this possible. It, and you all, touched me deeply. I need to walk it again to digest what that means but it was profound. A great privilege to be on a historic hike with such an amazing team.
Food/Supplies Comments
Don’t get carried away with dehydrating tofu to get the last one percent of moisture out. It well never re-hydrate and to may dislodge a filling.
Favourite Section
It’s so varied. It’s hard to compare or choose. The Northern end was cool because even after two weeks (and one shower), we still had 6 weeks to go.
Still love the big timber and that first glimpse of the ocean to tell us we were in a new section.

Wow, I got my first COVID on the trail. I have to hike that again. What a blur.
Wildlife
That big kangaroo (boomer) that stood between me and the toilet at 2:00AM and looked me in the eye.
Your Best Equipment
Gaiters, Poncho, Umbrella and folding chair. Things I never took and didn’t need. Less is more.
Your Worst Equipment
Olympus Tough camera. Battery life was rubbish and I was surrounded by people with photographic talent.
