So wanted just to turn around and go South to North! I miss the peace, beauty, scenery and tranquility this incredible track has gifted me.
Wildlife
Not a fan of all the mozzies nearing Albany! Loved the friendly Brenda the Quenda and finally more at ease walking in the bush where all the snakes live! Yes, snakes are there and im so much more confident one isn’t going to fly out of the bush and kill me!
Your Best Equipment
Love all my gear, but the best hiking hack ever from fellow hiker Karen, is a reflective windscreen mat under my sleep pad. This not only insulated, but also kept my mat dry and safe from sharp sticks and stones so no punctures! Love it!

Advice for Others
Become a member of the BTF as the info and advice on the site is fantastic for planning and E2E or doing sectionals. Oh, and dehydrate your own food, so so much nicer than commercial foods and definitely the big excitement at the end of a big day.
