General Comments
So glad we did it, after 25 years of our dream of walking the Bibbulmun Track becoming a reality
Food/Supplies Comments
Home dehydrated is the best
Favourite Section
Mike preferred the giant timber country while I liked the remote D’Entrecasteaux National Park
Highlights
Eating dehydrated ice-cream (yes, there is such a thing) for my birthday treat whilst enjoying the vista of Lake Mariginiup
Personal Reactions
We are so grateful to to our First Nations People and the Bibbulmun Track Foundation for creating a track that winds through the South West of Western Australia’s most remote and spectacular country.
Wildlife
The blue splendid fairy wren and the scarlet robin with their vivid colours were my favourites
Your Best Equipment
Thermarest Z seat pad, both poncho and raincoat, nylon line to suspend backpack so the rodents couldn’t get to it, camp booties for my freezing toes, Luci light, gsi coffee filter, power bank
Your Worst Equipment
Hiking chairs as they were too bulky and unnecessary
Advice for Others
Just do it. You will love, love, love it.
