General Comments
It took me only some fourteen years to get from one end to the other. It took me only a year to register afterwards, and compile a photo film, now posted on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpBVGWKS7mQ
Food/Supplies Comments
As I did not hike end-to-end in one go, food supplies were not an issue.
Favourite Section
I loved the whole lot, but my favourite sections were hiked in the company of my son, Joe.
Highlights
Where shall I start ...
Personal Reactions
The aches are quickly forgotten, and what remains are wonderful memories.
Wildlife
Plenty of kangaroos, wallabies, emus, snakes (especially down south), some wild pigs (including some big ones), a range of amazing birds and countless wildflowers. As seen in my photo film (link above).
Your Best Equipment
The lighter I was, the better I felt, no surprise there.
Your Worst Equipment
A pair of shoes I did not try before. Then three more days of walking with feet completely covered in blisters.
Advice for Others
Try to take less than fourteen years to finish it
