General Comments
An excellent hike, well marked, shelters were very clean and well maintained and the water tanks were most welcome!
Favourite Section
The karri and tingle forests.
Highlights
As above, the Gloucester tree, the coast lines and the chances to have a swim!
Wildlife
Heaps of ticks, flies and mossies south of Perth. Came across many remains of birds killed by cats. Emus, grey kangaroos, brush wallabies, black cockatoos, tiger snakes, dugites.
Your Best Equipment
Hiking sticks and fly net!
Advice for Others
Pack light-nothing extraneous. We passed a few hikers struggling with far too much gear.
