General Comments

Track books need some updates. Track has been beautiful, enjoyable, fantastic and all worth the effort! (I had to resign and fly in from Europe to be able to walk the Track).

Food/Supplies Comments

Take something with you hang your packs on in the shelters, to protect them from getting eaten by bush rats - eg. big hook and strong line, long enough.

Favourite Section

Pingerup Plains, White Horse Hills, beaches and cliffs.

Highlights

Sunsets from Mt Chance, Woolbales and cliffs. Being surrounded by lots and lots of wildflower. Meeting the bush animals, that sometimes scarred me at first.

Personal Reactions

Big thanks you to all who maintain the Track and have kept us company along the Track. Great wilderness experience and truly get away from the city life.

Wildlife

Many birds, snakes, lizards, kangaroo, some whales and dolphins, several quokkas, quendas and wallabies.

Your Best Equipment

Walking poles and new Thermarest Neo air mattress.

Your Worst Equipment

Inner tent which couldn’t stand on its own.

Advice for Others

Don’t think the Track is flat, when you’ve seen a horizontal line in the Track profile. And carry a special bag to put your food in the shelters.
