I am sure, the new facilities (shelters, etc) are great and make the experiencve more comfortaable, but I feel pleased and proud that we did it the “hard way

Much though and planning went into what foods, how much we would need and where supplies were left, before we set out

No particular section, it was allinteresting and very varied
Highlights
Arriving at Nanga Bush Camp and passing a group of people, the first human’s we had seen in 9 days
Personal Reactions
The whole experience is one I shall never forget or regret. I felt that at my age is was my greatest achievement
Wildlife
Snakes, kangaroos and many varieties of birds

A very light sleeping bag and mattress
