General Comments
I expected it to be an amazing experience, but it was more amazing than I could ever have imagined. Many thanks to Bibb Track Foundation, CALM, sponsors and volunteers.
Food/Supplies Comments
Sent food parcels and bought additional food in towns. Home dehydrated meals were the best. Never want to see TVP again.
Favourite Section
Woolbales to Long Point.
Highlights
Having picnic in the bush everyday. Never knowing what amazing sight or experience is waiting around the corner.
Personal Reactions
Just loved it, even learnt I could enjoy myself when completely knackered and in pain.
Wildlife
Not as much s I thought but had really close encounter with a large male kangaroo, who wouldn’t move off the track until I had take his photo three times.
Your Best Equipment
Hiking poles.
Your Worst Equipment
Pack buckle which kept bursting open. (But I had a spare, following Jim Freeman’s advice).
Advice for Others
Get out there and give it a go. Don’t worry about being on your own. You will meet plenty of people.
