Upgrades to Sandpatch

Volunteers visited Sandpatch last week to install some weather-proofing “fixes” to make the shelter more watertight. Eave panels have been fitted around the shelter and a jarrah bead  installed to collect condensation, while a future upgrade will fill in the window. Volunteers also gave the toilet and tables some additional attention as both suffer from the harsh coastal conditions.

Hopefully the days of waking up wet inside the shelter will soon be a thing of the past!
