Support Volunteers Building Bridges

A proud bunch of Support Volunteers testing out the finished product

This week, our Support Volunteers are hard at work in the Glen Mervyn area, replacing a timber bridge south of Collie-Preston Road with a 6m kit bridge system salvaged last month from an old Track alignment.

The installation, taking place over two days, will provide a more stable and sustainable crossing for walkers. Once completed, the team will also remove another kit bridge near Glen Mervyn Dam, where the Track was realigned in 2024.

These efforts highlight the dedication of our volunteers, who continue to improve the quality and safety of the Bibbulmun Track for everyone. Well done to the team!
