Missing Person Appeal: Samuel Whitsed

Many walkers and regular followers will be aware that Samuel Robert Whitsed went missing in February 2026.
Samuel travelled from Victoria to Perth on 14 February 2026 and was last seen on 18 February 2026 walking towards the Bibbulmun Track on Brookton Highway, near Jarrahdale State Forest. He was carrying camping equipment and is believed to have intended to stay along the Track. At the time, he was wearing a red T-shirt and black trousers.
Several weeks later, camping equipment believed to belong to Samuel was located at Canning Hut on the Bibbulmun Track. Despite extensive searches of the area and ongoing inquiries, there has been no sign of Samuel since.
We are sharing this information in the hope that someone may recall seeing Samuel, meeting him along the Track, or have information that could assist investigators.
