Connecting young adventurers with the Track

The Bibbulmun Track Foundation team recently joined the Discover Scouts 2026 event, spending the day engaging with families, young people, and fellow outdoor enthusiasts. The team enjoyed plenty of meaningful conversations throughout the day.

A highlight was the children’s activity, which ended in a tie between two enthusiastic participants who had met while camping nearby. What began as a simple activity quickly turned into a memorable moment of connection, with the two leaving as new friends.

The day also provided an opportunity to share stories about the Bibbulmun Track and inspire interest in walking, camping, and exploring Western Australia’s natural places. Volunteers played a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging space for visitors.

We’re grateful to the Scouts WA community and event organisers for the opportunity to be involved, and to everyone who stopped by to say hello.
