General Comments
If you are thinking about it, just pick a date and start walking. The journey of 1000km starts with a single step.

Your Best Equipment
My Sea to Summit Ether Light XR Womens sleeping mat. It's so comfortable.

Your Worst Equipment
My hiking poles, but thats more about me. I twist my wrists as I walk so the telescopic twist to release poles often slip when I am walking. I had to upgrade to a new set with clips to lock them in.

Advice for Others
Don't let fear stop you. The most dangerous thing out there is your imagination.

Your Experience

Availability of information: Great - The Facebook groups are also a wealth of information especially for current information along the track such as inlet crossings.
Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Good - I saw 4 snakes, a pig and half a dozen goats along the track. Unfortunately I also saw some feral cats.

Favourite Section
Walpole to Denmark.

Highlight of your trip
Sunrise on Cosy Corner beach. It should have been my second last day (but for the need to come back a complete the last section from Northcliffe to Walpole after an injury) and the sunrise across the bay looking at the Wind Farm was truly something special. I though the Blackwood sunrise couldn't be beat, but this one did it.
