Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsGo at your own pace and do what is best for you.
Your Best Equipment
Backpack as it was able to hold all the gear and food - just - I required for the 12 days walk between Dwellingup and Kalamunda
Your Worst Equipment
Did not have a worst equipment as I was able to afford the purchase of quality equipment from the start.
Advice for Others
If you are thinking about undertaking an end to end just start, whether it is sectional or a through walk you have to start sometime. If you start a through walk do not leave the track for few days and come back as from talking to people, who have it is not the same apparently.

Your Experience
- Availability of information: Great - I used the accommodation available for Walpole to contact the accommodation place Blue Wren Travelers Rest (note the email address on the BTF website at the time was incorrect. The BTF website needs to be updated). I also checked the groups on track tab to see if there would be any groups at the hut at the sometime.
- Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Fair
Mt Dale to Helena. When you actually took the time look around the views over the valleys were interesting. Also, there was minimal road walking.
Highlight of your trip
Being able to complete this Northbound End to End without any interruptions. Unlike my Southbound End to End earlier in the year, which ended up being Sectional and I was unable to turn around when I reach Albany to head North as planned. Therefore, not the double End to End as I originally planned.
