Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsI have Cystic Fibrosis and I had always wanted to walk the track. It was the hardest thing I have ever done and the mountains were especially gruelling for a person with 50% lung capacity. But it was also the best thing I have ever done and it was 100% worth it.
Your Best Equipment
The Guidebooks, they have great information in them about the landscape you are travelling through and interesting things to look out for.
Your Worst Equipment
My silk liner for my sleeping bag, I ended up using it as a pillow
Advice for Others
Walk your own walk. Stop and look around, enjoy the environment you are in and appreciate every second you are on the track.
