General CommentsTenacity in the tough bits, stop and enjoy the locations, routinely look back at the path you have walked , enjoy the company of other hikers, do random acts of kindness for people on the track.

My MSR Hubba Hubba two person tent, my Sea to Summit Spark Pro sleeping bag, my Black Diamond Head torch, my Kompadell walking poles

I only took what I needed, nothing more, and it all worked very well

Plan well, but be flexible. Remember that no plan survives the first shot.

- Availability of information: Excellent - Wonderful and demanding walk, with great variety and terrific resources - the shelters, the towns, the visitor centers, the people.
- Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Poor - LOTS of wild pigs, very little of anything else
