Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsFintan and I enjoyed staying in every shelter along the track as well as spending at least two nights in every track town to give us a rest day to explore each town and to restock our food supplies.
Your Best Equipment
-11 degrees Celsius sleeping bag, and light weight Sea to Summit mattress and pillow.
Your Worst Equipment
Orange garbage bag used as a pack liner bag - easily damaged resulting in water leaks.
Advice for Others
Given the max number of nights camping out at any one time is 8 then we didn't need to send food parcels ahead. We were happy to support the local supermarkets to stock up.
