General Comments
To complete you have to be determined We took 5 years and 6 months from start to finish with hiccups along the way but we always knew we would finish

Your Best Equipment
Womens Osprey Backpacks (day pack and overnight one) Merrell Moab Boots Injini Toe socks and outer socks (definately prevents blisters)

Your Worst Equipment
Tent we decided not to spend a lot of money on our tent . This was a mistake although our tent weighed just over 1 kg we found it too heavy as older walkers we needed to keep our pack as light as possible Also a free standing tent would have been much better.

Advice for Others
Get the best gear you can afford as it is usually lighter, more comfortable and sturdy.

• Availability of information: Fair - The distance calculator is inaccurate..This could be dangerous as sometimes it is several kilometres longer than quoted
• Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Fair - Phascogale - unfortunately it was not alive

Walking the track with a lifelong friend. This made it even more significant.
