Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? No
I sent myself food packages to all the towns and restocked on extras when I arrived. All track towns had a great selection of food and I really didn't need to send anything in the end. When I do the track again I will just resupply in the towns.

Your Story or Advice for Others

General Comments
The walk was absolutely incredible! I really cant put it into words when people ask how it was. If you are thinking about doing it, JUST DO IT! You wont be disappointed!

Your Best Equipment
Durston Iceline trekking poles and my Ultralight mountain gear hiking umbrella. -Everyone doubts the umbrella but it was fantastic! Also shout out to my Garmin INreach Mini 2 - this is the second hike I have needed emergency assistance and been able to get help with the aid of a satellite device, I will never hike without it.

Your Worst Equipment
My pillow! I had a Trekology 2.0 which was super comfortable and light but it got a lot of hole and would go down overnight. Managed to get an ENORMOUS self inflating pillow from Pemberton which almost made it the rest of the way with repairs.

Advice for Others
Be open to new experiences. I went on the hike hoping to be alone most of the time, thinking thats what I needed. The universe had other plans and filled everyday/night with new people and gave me the most amazing hiking 'Tramily'. I cant wait to get out hiking with them again soon!

Your Experience

Availability of information: Excellent - Huge thank your to all the vollies that keep the track in such great condition and make it accessible for everyone
Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Great - A cute couple of echidnas in the Perth hills and a whale off the south coast.

Favourite Section
Coming into Ballingup was a beautiful day and just before Pemberton we had a fun day bush bashing over and around HUGE deadfall in the forrest. Oh and getting absolutely DRENCHED walking into Pemberton!

Highlight of your trip
There are too many to recall. Meeting some amazing new friends and being out there together facing the same challenges and highlights together is something you have to experience to really appreciate.
