Track Towns and Supplies
- How many days did you stay in Track Towns? 18
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? No
- Due to dietary restrictions I sent resupply boxes to Visitor Centre's and accommodation along the way. I'm not a huge fan of commercial hiking foods so the majority of my meals were home cooked and dehydrated. I stocked up on snacks and extra bits and pieces in the track towns.
- Dwellingup
- Denmark
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsOne of the best experiences I've had, I loved the solitude of solo walking and the daily routine on the track. I met some great people along the way and enjoyed their company at the huts each evening.
Your Best Equipment
Mont Moondance1 tent, Nemo sleeping mat and S2S sleeping bag. Garmin InReach which allowed me to stay in contact with home even when there was no phone service. A small spiky ball that I used to roll my feet at the end of each day. Fixomul - I love the stuff!
Your Worst Equipment
A lightweight raincoat that didn't cope with the WA downpours - I ended up sending it home and getting something more suitable.
Advice for Others
Take your time, enjoy the journey and if possible spend time exploring the track towns.
