Your Experience
- Availability of information: Excellent - I started at Sullivan's Rock when I should have been at North Bannister, went south instead of north, and reached Mount Cook campsite where I saw an entry in the book by someone called Wrong Way Jim. that cheered me up immensely so I sorted myself out and headed north the next morning. I realized I had totally overestimated my abilities so left the track at Brookton Highway and walked to Roleystone. I made more mistakes than I care to mention but I WAS HOOKED.
- Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Excellent - Too many to mention
Hard to decide but Blackwood and Warren are probably my favorite huts though Dog Pool and Woolbales are up there too.
