Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsI bought a lightweight tent after seeing Seona's Zpacks, I bought a bunch of stuff off Temu, and re-bought everything. Weight and utility are everything I've learnt.
Your Best Equipment
Alton Goods air mattress cover sheet, the pillow fold is elite, no more disappearing pillows
Your Worst Equipment
The padding on my backpack (MD) crushed and disintegrated by the end of the trip, I will get a better pack next time.
Advice for Others
Train and test your setup before you embark.

Your Experience
- Availability of information: Good - I was inspired by my Aunty Julie Sanders who is an End to Ender and was told by God to Walk the Bibbulmun Track from Albany to Kalamunda one day while walking to Rocky Pool. Its something that I always wanted to do but probably never would have found the time had I not been prompted. My Boss was Ex Army and loves a big hike so was all about it! My best friend told me about a fundraiser they do called "Step 4 Epilepsy" so I synched my walk up with that and was able to raise $5500 for Epilepsy WA. I had some pretty bad foot pain, but the fundraising, encouragement from family and friends, and determination to finished the mission God had set for me pushed me forward.
- Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Great - I saw an Echidna up close and had an encounter with one miffed Tiger Snake that begrudgingly let me photograph him. I also got some pretty cool video of an Emu family near Donnelly River Village
Gardener to Beedelup and also around Balingup
