Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsEnjoyed every step. every kilometre, every honkey nut, every wet spiked branch, every hill/sand dune, every campsite, every interaction with another hiker….basically I enjoyed the whole track and hope I am fortunate enough to the opportunity to do it again someday.
Your Best Equipment
Trekking poles and Thermarest Compressible Cinch pillow (so soft and comfortable).
Your Worst Equipment
Non-thermal sleepwear (it was a lot colder sleeping in the shelters in just a sleeping bag than in a tent).
Advice for Others
Protect food and gear from rats/mice using food boxes and fishing line/wire or similar to hang other items.
