• Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? No
• I sourced all my food/supplies from track towns. I didn't utilise freeze dried meals, however. Published accounts were an excellent resource for understanding what was and wasn't available, which helped with resupply planning, but I did have the flexibility in my food choices.

Your Best Equipment
Hydrapak 1.5L collapsible flask with filter cap - Fast & efficient with far less maintenance than my other 'squeeze' type filters

Your Worst Equipment
Not my worst - a lesson learnt - I don't require the practicality of a bum bag. It spent more time in my pack, than on my waist.

Your Experience

• Availability of information: Excellent - My planning and trail notes, including diversion awareness, was largely derived from the website - It had everything I needed.
• Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Great - I was 'ushered' up the trail by a goanna near Boonering Hill. Saw a bird (raptor of some type?) fly off with a rodent near Lake Maringup. Every snake had a 'special' impact on the heart rate!

Mandalay Beach scenic outlook - amazing moment as the track finally reached the ocean and brought with it an incredible sense of achievement.
