Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- I'm not a fussy eater so was able to resupply in each town along the way with a little creativity. Check the Visitor Centre in each town for dehydrated meals by lesser known companies like Strive and Feed the Hike.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsIt was a dream come true to walk the Bib as an end to end and I got lucky with the weather, the wildflowers and the people I met along the way. I can't believe this is our backyard!! Thank you to all the people who continue to make this possible.
Your Best Equipment
Freshly ground coffee and an Aeropress!! My sleeping bag was my saviour on many cold afternoons and I'm so glad I packed the puffer jacket.
Your Worst Equipment
No complaints here! I will take the time to dehydrate more meals and send them ahead next time though. Having something delicious to look forward to at the end of a grey, rainy day is a luxury.
Advice for Others
Take a decent tent - There will come a time when all you want is a good night's sleep and a bit of privacy. Keep that pack as light as possible and stop often to sniff the air, look at the bugs and flowers and enjoy all the little moments of track magic to be found out there.

- Who did you complete the Track with? Solo (primarily)
- Was undertaking your hike the PRIMARY/MAIN purpose of your TRAVEL from where you currently live? No
Your Experience
Wildflowers, waves and constant birdsong along the way made every day special. Waking up at Warren Hut with the sunlight through those tall trees was magical. Falling asleep to the sound of the Southern Ocean for the first time at Lake Maringup was also unreal!
Highlight of your trip
Each day I made myself stop, sit down somewhere with a view and have a mid-morning cup of coffee. 45 days on track, 45 cups of coffee, 45 moments of quiet reflection and wonder.
