- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- I used all back country meals. I never went hungry. I feel that I covered all food groups adequately. Resupplied in track towns but also had our own supplies at the visitors centres.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General Comments52 days hiking with 8 rest days.
Your Best Equipment
Used Altra trail running shoes. They have a very big toe box. Only 2 blisters in 52 days. That was because it rained all day. I also carried a trigger point ball and used it on calves and the arches of our feet. I loved my hiking poles.
Advice for Others
Steady steady. Take the time to get use to the weight of your pack. Let your body get use to consecutive days of hiking. Enjoy the journey.

Hiking with my daughter. We had mothers day and Lea's birthday on the track.
