- I did miscalculate one sector Northcliffe to Walpole..however sorted out foods to provide enough for extra day. My favourite dehydrated food supplier was Thrive the Tasmanian company

General CommentsWithout doubt the biggest achievement that I have ever undertaken in my life, an amazing journey , never to be forgotten
Your Best Equipment
My boots and socks combo worked so well, no blisters ! My seat matt so useful. Cooking set up was easy and lightweight.
Your Worst Equipment
Back pack.. top strap broke and i had to improvise , it never felt quite right after, a real nuisance.
Advice for Others
Plan at length before starting, the logistics of the walk are huge, the food etc you can't make a mistake..recheck everything you do.mon 29

Your Experience
Balingup to Brookton, such a varied day. Also loved Pemberton to Northcliffe with the trees and river. The arrival at the coast was also inspiring and different.
Highlight of your trip
Walking into Albany as the sun came up after starting from Sand Patch at 0415 with lights . The many different people I met a real highlight.
