Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsOne of the most challenging experiences I've had. Definitely learnt a lot about myself and the things I appreciate most in my life.
Your Best Equipment
I definitely recommend taking HotHands if you're going in winter, they were amazing keeping us warm. I used 360 Degrees Furno cooker and Pot set to cook dinner every night and it never failed me :)
Your Worst Equipment
My Black Wolf Hiker 500 sleeping bag. It kept me warm but for some reason the end of it always got damp and smelt even though I would dry it in town.
Advice for Others
Do your research before beginning the track. If it weren't for other hikers I wouldn't have known about the Pingerup Plains or the inlets. Accept any emotions you feel and let them be free. And most importantly just keep on walking :)

Your Experience
From Kalamunda to Dwellingup. It was the most difficult as it was the beginning of our journey and we had so much to learn however we met the most people during this time and made some of my favourite memories.
Highlight of your trip
Seeing how much Australia's environment can change between two shelters is amazing. I didn't realise how beautiful this country really was. The shelters all have such different characters and everyone we met were the most genuine and kind people. The track feels like a second home now.
