Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- Took off the shelf and self hydrated meals. Much preferred self hydrated meals for freshness and taste. I was however always surprised at how little I actually needed to eat and still comfortably walk each stage.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsOverall a wonderful experience - in equal parts challenging and enjoyable.
Your Best Equipment
My Big Agnes sleeping mat - for the first time I floated on air without feeling any contact with the floor - absolute bliss!
Your Worst Equipment
My sleeping bag - not because it didn't function as promised but because it was the heaviest item I took. One day I'll buy a super light bag.
Advice for Others
Be prepared to push through, which for me was best done with the encouragement of a fellow walker who was also a friend!
