Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- I started with 8 kg's of noodles, nuts and dried fruits... I don't even like nuts and dried fruits. Never again! Luckily I met amazing people who told me how to make the best out of shopping on restdays. Food is fuel, good food on the track is life!
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsWhat a journey! From taking time to be really aware of setting my very first step on the track at the Northern Terminus, to hearing the clocktower strike 12 exactly at the moment I placed my hands on the sign at the Southern Terminus more than 7 weeks later. Ups and Downs, wonderful people, amazing experience. Thank you Bibbulmun!
Your Best Equipment
backpack, drybags, trekking poles, down sleeping bag, buff, earplugs, flynet (take a flynet!! It may not be sexy, but it saved me from many nervous breakdowns as flies crawled into my eyes for 8 hours straight before I could finally buy a net in Dwellingup!)
Your Worst Equipment
8kg's of noodles, nuts and dried fruits at the trailstart, pinky toes, left knee + ankle
Advice for Others
If you want to do it, do it. Don't tell yourself you will do it "someday". It can be too late too soon. May it be a good or a bad choice - it's an experience that'll let you grow and which you'll never forget!

Your Experience
experiencing being all alone in nature; not caring about looks because there's no people or mirrors anyways; doing laundry and having the first shower after up to 9 days; that moment when people asked me "Are you doing an End 2 End?" and my answer changed from "Don't know, I'm trying" to "Yes"
