Kids grow up so quickly and before you know it, they have flown the nest!
Savour this time by creating as many wonderful memories together as possible. Our Walking with Mum or Dad weekends have been thoughtfully considered so they are enjoyed by parents, grandparents and kids (8-13yrs) alike.
Grandparents, you are welcome to take Mum or Dad’s spot!
Together you will enjoy two walks through the magnificent jarrah forest and camp under the stars at a Bibbulmun Track campsite. Here you will learn bush and camping skills from our experienced guides and perhaps enjoy some marshmallows roasted over the crackling fire.
Be rewarded with fantastic views from the highest peak in the Darling Range – Mt Cooke and do that without your big packs! They stay at the bottom!
The best part of booking an event with us is that all profits go back to the maintenance of the Bibbulmun Track – you should be proud!

A great way to experience track walking and camping with little experience and without having to buy expensive equipment. It’s inspired us to do more of it and has also given us some confidence to do so. Kim – participating dad.

Hi all! I’ve been walking the Bibbulmun Track, and various other trails around WA, for the last 15 years. One of the best things about being a volunteer guide is being able to help people of all levels experience the joys of the Australian bush. I’m passionate about bringing the outdoors to younger generations in order to facilitate a connection to nature that they can enjoy in the years to come.

Hi folks, I have been a member with the Foundation since 1999 and became a volunteer guide after participating in the Walk with Dad event many years ago. See you out there!
